The arrival
First-time visitors will be struck by how seamlessly the hotel buildings blend into beautiful Fiskebäckskil. Gullmarsstrand is situated in gap between the North Sea and Gullmaren, Sweden’s only threshold fjord. Here there is a sense of absolute calm and absolute presence. The hotel has grown slowly but surely for 40 years with aesthetics and quality as the strongest driving forces.

Sea baths – sauna – POOL
Fiskebäckskil is one of the West Coast’s classic beach resorts. We carry on the tradition in a refined version of the late 1800s cold bath house. In Sinnenas Havsbad you can enjoy two sauna rooms, relax and the outdoor pool 38G that floats on stilts in the sea and lasts just 38G all year round. In our latest addition Sinnenas Relax you can enjoy the indoor pool and sauna and only a glass wall that separates the jetty and the sea.
We can also offer wonderful spa treatments and for those who want to work out we have our gym with Bohuslän’s bluest view!
FISKEBÄCKSKIL
In the picturesque little community, you still feel the presence of seafarers and weathered skippers. A walk on the cobbled alleys to admire the beautiful old captain’s houses is recommended. Fiskebäckskil is drama and softness in beautiful union. It has inspired many artists past and present. One of the more well-known is Carl Wilhelmson. When you’re here, you can’t help but take Fiskebäckskil to heart.

Our kitchen creates different menus of course largely based on the delights of the sea and ingredients based on the season. Guests usually sit at the table for a long time to enjoy.
